Darwin Festival farewells Aunty Ruby Hunter

Darwin Festival would like to express our deepest sympathy to Uncle Archie Roach and his son Amos and their family on the sad passing of our dear friend Aunty Ruby Hunter.

We feel immensely privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Ruby over many years and to have enjoyed her music and stories – including her beautiful 2009 premiere of Out & About, Ruby’s songs for children which she, Archie and Amos performed at The Lighthouse.  This special lady will be missed by so many people whose lives she gently touched.
