The Amphitheatre, George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens
The Amphitheatre is the home to many of Darwin Festival’s big name acts, including the massive free Santos Opening Night Concert.
The Amphitheatre is located in the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens. Entry is via Gardens Road.
Box office, bar and food stalls open on event nights only. Please note no ATM on site.
All performances in The Amphitheatre are General Admission. No seating is provided at The Amphitheatre, so BYO picnic blankets and chairs.
Food and Drink
Food and alcoholic beverages are available for sale on event nights only. Please note these stalls are CASH ONLY. This is a licensed site: BYO alcohol is not permitted. Other liquids in sealed plastic bottles only. Proof of ID may be requested.
Transport and Parking
Bus Route #4 stops on Gilruth Avenue near the Gardens Road entrance to the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens.
Limited parking is available on Gardens Road and at Mindil Beach.
