APAM Gathering in Darwin
The Australian Performing Arts Market (APAM) Gathering at Darwin Festival brings together a collection of virtual and real-life happenings highlighting the works, ideas and ambitions of Australian and New Zealand artists and companies.
Taking place on the lands of the Larrakia people, the APAM Gathering at Darwin Festival will be held virtually and in person in mid-August. A multidisciplinary event, the Gathering will invite participants from across the country and internationally to engage in a digital and IRL program of performance, dialogue, and networking. Participants will include 80-100 international presenters invited to attend virtually by APAM.
The APAM Program will feature 45 Australian and international artists and organisations through the Profile program discussing new ideas, works and approaches. Alongside the Profile sessions and Showcased works there will be a range of conversations and discussions through the Exchange program including Neighbourhood, a longstanding partnership with Theatre Network Australia. Northern Territory artists and organisations will be highlighted through the Local Players program.
