If at first you don´t succeed, try again… and again… and again.
Greta lives alone, rehearsing once a week for the arrival of ‘the one’. Will she get lucky tonight? Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
Perhaps, Perhaps… Quizás is a heart-wrenching and hilarious clown piece that plays with the idea of loneliness and the hope that one day Mr Right will come along. Created and performed by Mexico’s Gabriela Muñoz, it is as beautifully poignant as it is hysterical.
This award-winning show premiered in New York in 2010 and has since been performed around the world to great acclaim. Munõz uses pathos and humour to keep the audience on the edge of their seats as they’re taken on a ride between her reality and imagination. Her tour-de-force performance is totally engaging and exceptionally funny.
‘It is brave, it is well-crafted, it is side-splittingly funny, and it is sad. It is wonderful.’
‘She steps into a world of lace, chintz and discarded paper dressed like the soulful counterpart to Helena Bonham-Carter's Queen of Hearts, and proceeds to win ours.’
