You can’t stop the music at this year’s Santos Opening Night Concert – and, believe us, you won’t want to. Our line-up is the perfect reflection of our 40th celebrations, with a great mix of old and new. Whether you’re kicking back under the stars or up and busting a move, the official start to the 2019 Darwin Festival will be a night to remember.
It all kicks off with a Welcome to Country with Ali Mills. Then the uplifting vocals and feel-good groove of Adrian Eagle will let you know you’re going to be ‘A. O. K’.
Next up we’re excited to welcome Darwin favourite Caiti Baker to get the party going with her unique contemporary take on urban NT-inspired indie soul.
Headliners Yothu Yindi show us why they’re the most successful and internationally recognised of Australia’s Indigenous bands. Their fusion of traditional music and performance with contemporary rock is inspiring, uplifting and a whole lot of fun!
Bring the family, catch up with mates and make a night of it with delicious food and refreshing drinks from our onsite vendors. Most of all, have fun – it’s a party after all!
