Darwin Festival 2020 is celebrating homegrown talent and we’ve asked a bunch of Darwin’s favourite musicians to each write a new song all about our town. Join us on the Sunset Stage as we close DF20 with one huge celebratory concert.

Caiti Baker, Arran Barker, Broadwing, Tracey Bunn, Ben Evolent, Mandy Garling, David Garnham and Stevie Jean have taken inspiration from their local neighbourhoods, houses, rooms and parking lots to create songs about love, loss, childhood memories and simply having fun. Share houses, family homes, rural areas, suburban life and city living – it’s all captured in Streets of Darwin.

Our collection of songwriters has created the perfect playlist to pay homage to the Streets of Darwin and you can experience it live on the closing night of this year’s Festival. Backed by a house band of local musos, each singer will also pick a cover from the Aussie cannon on the theme of home. Now that’s a night worth leaving the street for!

Enjoy a collection Streets of Darwin music clips.
