Tia Gostelow

Supported by Sam Carmody
Northern Territory / Australia

Tia Gostelow has catapulted onto the Australian music scene with her arresting vocals and unique blend of indie-folk-rock.

At the age of 16 Gostelow wrote ‘State of the Art’, which won her triple j’s inaugural Indigenous Initiative and a place in their Unearthed High 2016 Top 5. Things started moving fast after that and together with her band she supported the likes of Frightened Rabbit, Husky and Bernard Fanning. Since finishing school, her music has gained a more upbeat sense of fun and the award nominations have continued to flow, including six from the 2017 Queensland Music Awards (two of which she won) and a place in the Top 40 shortlist for the 2018 Vanda and Young Songwriting Competition. She’s started her own record label and is set to release her debut album – and she’s still only 18!

Tia Gostelow is not only one to watch, she is one not to miss!
