Be wowed by the humble ukulele as you’ve never seen it before when The Ukulele Death Squad push the possibilities of this small four-stringed instrument to the limit.
Exploding onto the scene at the 2017 Adelaide Fringe Festival, this fab four blend their own ukulele style with flamenco, Mexican, rap and folk for an energetic performance that will quite literally blow your mind. With polished stage-craft, mad thumping rhythms and outrageous solos, The Ukulele Death Squad will warp your perceptions of the ukulele one nylon string at a time. And having sold out every single show they’ve put on to this day, competition for tickets will be hot.
Support is from Jigsaw Collective, Darwin’s own contemporary soul, jazz and blues band. Known for their lively and fun performances Jigsaw Collective have toured and recorded extensively since forming in 2004.
