Presented by Agency with support from Salon Art Projects
UNTOLD Darwin brings together leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, creatives, cultural leaders and academics for a weekend of Indigenous-led conversation, exchange and connection.
Designed to deepen understanding, demonstrate interconnectedness and broaden awareness, audiences are invited to explore a diverse range of topics with esteemed Indigenous speakers from across Australia. Held from Thursday 4 – Sat 6 August in the gardens of Myilly Point Heritage Precinct, the daily talks will be presented alongside the festivities of Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair, the Telstra National Aboriginal Torres Strait Islander Art Awards, Salon des Refusés and National Indigenous Fashion Awards. ‘Artist in the room’ films and conversations will also be happening at Salon Art Projects exhibitions across the weekend. All events are free.
