Laundry showcases the vocal and lyrical prowess of Mudburra and Garrawa woman Eleanor Jawurlngali Dixon, the distinctive songwriting of queer alt-country artist Alice Cotton and the intricate guitar work of Hayley Shone, against the backdrop of lush string quartet arrangements. In a unique creative collaboration, emerging composer Alice Cotton crafts bespoke string arrangements of songs handpicked by the artists, offering never-before-heard interpretations brought to life by the Kapok String Quartet.
