Closing Night at The Ski Club: Hiatus Kaiyote
Supported by Bumpy + Caiti Baker
A thrilling closing night of genre-bending music.
Grammy nominated visionaries Hiatus Kaiyote celebrate their 15th anniversary and our closing night with an electrifying night of funk, progressive R&B, hip hop, rock and jazz as only they know how. Led by singer-guitarist Naomi “Nai Palm” Saalfield, these wizards of the shapeshifting live show have built a formidable reputation for their spectacular stage performances – a high-wire mix of musical mastery and edge-of-your-seat chaos.
Support on the night comes from award-winning, Naarm-based artist Bumpy, a magnetic force in Australian music. Her sound is a shimmering mosaic of contemporary soul laced with folk, funk and jazz. She captivates with her hypnotic stage presence and evocative voice that balances tenderness and power, turning raw emotion into something universally resonant.
Bumpy is joined on the lineup by Darwin’s own Caiti Baker and her band, bringing her infectious beats and anthemic lyrics to get the night started right.
Join us for a musical celebration to close out Darwin Festival 2026.
