Grapes of Mirth Goes Troppo – Darwin

We’re bringing six of Australia’s best comedians to the Top End for an afternoon of big laughs, top-shelf wine, gourmet eats and laid-back festival energy on the lush lawns. Hosted by Head Clown, Merrick Watts, you’ll be guided through five headline comedy sets, with plenty of time in between to sip, snack and soak up the tropical atmosphere. With a backdrop of the Arafura Sea and the setting sun, you’ll be hard pressed to find a more picturesque venue. Whether you’re here for the comedy, the wine, or just a cracking day out with mates, this is your kind of mini festival. Resident DJ Pedro Moshman will be spinning tunes before, between and after the comedy, finishing the day the only way we know how — on your feet. This is an outdoor event with no allocated seating, so bring your friends, a picnic rug or chair and settle in for a relaxed afternoon that rolls into a party as the sun goes down. All tickets include a take-home wine glass and there’ll be plenty of food and drink available to keep you fuelled. This is an 18+ event (because… comedians). Strictly no BYO food or beverage.
