Darwin Amphitheatre at George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens

Located within the George Brown Darwin Botanic Gardens, Gardens Amphitheatre is Darwin's premier outdoor venue and much loved by Territorians.

The National Indigenous Music Awards is a general admission event with no seating provided. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own picnic blankets and low chairs. Expect a lively atmosphere with dancing throughout the evening.

Ticket scanning and bag checks will occur at the front gates. Please arrive early and be prepared for queuing.

Food & Drink

Food and drink stalls will be open. Please note that The National Indigenous Music Awards is an alcohol-free event.

Glass, unsealed bottles, and sharp objects not permitted.

Parking

Dedicated accessible parking bays and a drop-off area are available near the main entrance, accessible via Gilruth Avenue only. Please present your Australia Accessibility Parking Scheme Badge to traffic controllers on arrival.
 
To avoid delays, public transport is recommended. Bus routes 4, 6, and 15 operate services to Mindil Beach. Plan your journey here.

Accessible Parking and Drop Off

Dedicated accessible parking bays and a drop-off area are available near the main entrance, accessible via Gilruth Avenue only. For access, show your Australia Accessibility Parking Scheme Badge to the traffic controllers.

Box Office

A Box Office will be available at the Amphitheatre on the night of the National Indigenous Music Awards.
