Venue Information and Opening Hours
Festival Park is open from Wednesday 5 August to Saturday 22 August, from 5 pm until late. It is closed on Mondays.
Entry is via the Smith Street Gate, the end of Cavanagh Street, and the City of Darwin Civic Centre car park.
This is a licensed venue. Under 18s are permitted with a parent or guardian. No BYO alcohol.

Open 5pm until 15 minutes after the last performance (excluding Club Awi).

Parking & Transport
Parking is available throughout the city. The closest multi-storey car park is the State Square Underground Car Park, located approximately 250 metres from the Smith Street entrance.
Festival Park is conveniently located next to the Darwin Bus Interchange, which provides services to various locations across Darwin. You can find more information regarding bus timetables here.
Prams and Babes in Arms
Prams are permitted within the park; however, there is no designated pram parking available. For children’s events at the Sunset Stage, prams may be parked within the venue in designated areas as directed on arrival.
Children under 24 months may attend most Festival events free of charge, provided they do not occupy a seat and remain on the lap of a parent or guardian. Please note that this babes in arms policy does not apply to events rated 18+.
Age restrictions, including any exceptions to the babes in arms policy, may vary between events. Please check the individual event listing for full details before attending.
Hidden Disabilities Program
At Festival Park, Darwin Festival invites patrons with non-visible disabilities or conditions to wear a sunflower lanyard as a discreet way to indicate they may need extra support or understanding.
Free sunflower lanyards and complimentary earplugs are available at the Festival Park Box Office. We encourage patrons to visit the Box Office on arrival for assistance and to help ensure a comfortable experience.
