One of Australia’s most distinctive R&B voices, A.GIRL brings a blend of soul, hip hop and razor-sharp lyricism to get the night started right. Talented rapper, dancer, beatboxer and producer BVT’s explosive sound and dynamic energy close out this huge double header with a fiery music and dance performance that will ignite the mind, booty and soul. 

A.GIRL has earned both critical acclaim and a fiercely loyal audience. A recipient of FBi Radio’s Next Big Thing and a nominee for Best Live Act, she has built her reputation on more than genre, delivering emotionally direct songwriting with precision vocal control and a commanding stage presence. Beyond the music, A.GIRL shapes culture as host of the triple j Hip Hop Show, placing her at the centre of Australia’s evolving sound.

BVT toured with electro-dance pop group Haiku Hands in 2021 and was the winner of the APRA AMCOS x MARDI GRAS competition for Emerging Queer Artists. BVT performed at World Pride 2023 and their debut mixtape ‘LALAKI’s Mixtape’ was released in November, noting decolonising self, bringing forth QTBIPOC representation and bearing the culture as a future ancestor as the passions behind the project. Coming out as one of the highlight acts from BigSound, BVT has most recently performed at WOMADELAIDE and Party in The Paddock.
