Brown's Mart

Brown's Mart is a multi-performance space in the heart of Darwin CBD located at 12 Smith St, Darwin.

The Brown's Mart precinct includes the heritage Brown's Mart Theatre, Brown's Mart Studio (also home to Happy Yess), Brown's Mart Courtyard and a Bar/Info Desk.

Food and Drink

Brown’s Mart has a licensed bar in the courtyard area. Due to liquor licensing regulations, drinks purchased at Brown’s Mart or Festival Park must be consumed within their respective venues and cannot be carried between the two.

Parking

Street parking is available throughout the city. The closest multi-storey car park is the State Square Underground Car Park, located approximately 250 metres from the venue. Brown’s Mart is conveniently located next to the Darwin Bus Interchange.

Wheelchair accessible parking is located: Accessible parking is available in the service lane in front of the venue, adjacent to the Bus Interchange, with an accessible drop-off point outside the main entrance on Smith Street.

The path of travel from the street or drop off point to the entrance is level, firm and obstacle free.

Brown's Mart Theatre, Studio, and Courtyard are Wheelchair Accessible spaces. There is an Accessible bathroom located in the Theatre Foyer.

Brown's Mart shows are 'first in first seated', so if you have access needs in regards to seating please let your Front Of House team know and you'll be given priority seating with accessible space available in both venues.
