After watching Back to the Future we all dreamed hoverboards would be a thing. Well now you can discover pop-up dance performances on hoverboards in venues across Darwin.
Five exceptional dance and physical theatre artists perform masterfully crafted roving dance routines on hoverboards. The fun, high-energy choreography is inspired by circus and street dance forms like breakdance, tutting, popping and krumping. Paying homage to boy bands throughout history, HOVER is set to a variety of music genres, including pop hits, classical music and stunning original scores by composer Nick Wales.
Shaun Parker & Company is one of Australia’s most far-reaching dance companies, having toured extensively internationally to 21 counties across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States. Their brand-new outdoor dance spectacle HOVER invites you to explore public spaces in a different way as you enjoy some edgy and entertaining dance routines!
