For 17 years, the National Indigenous Music Awards have been a highlight of the national music calendar. Honouring the achievements and diversity of First Nations musicians, this event has paved the way for the careers of Indigenous artists, with past performers including Thelma Plum, Briggs, Emma Donovan and the Putbacks, Gurrumul, Archie Roach, Deborah Cheetham, Jessica Mauboy and many more.

In a year where First Nations music has never been stronger, this year’s line-up, boasting world class acts Thelma Plum, Budjerah, Barkaa, Kobie Dee, Dean Brady and Ngulmiya, promises to be another must-see event under the stars of the iconic Darwin Amphitheatre.
