SPUN: AFTER DARK

More Info

When the sun goes down and the curlews start to cry, Darwin’s night owls emerge. From mosquito-infested mudflats, pulsating nightclubs, haunted parks and abandoned highways comes a line-up of storytellers who aren’t afraid of the dark… or are they?

For their 20th live storytelling event, the SPUN team have gone into the shadows to find you an extra special selection of untold stories. Grab a torch or even better, bring a candle, and step into a landscape of secrets and stories, after dark.

SPUN Stories is a live storytelling event and podcast that showcases extraordinary people and stories from the Top End. Started in 2015, it has seen more than 120 locals share true, personal stories across 19 events. At a time when we’re bombarded by social media and manufactured narratives, SPUN offers a refreshingly candid snapshot of life in the Territory.

SPUN Stories have been shared with audiences across Australia via the SPUN Stories Podcast. Now in its sixth season, listeners can travel across the Top End from anywhere in the world.
