Australia’s biggest First Nations gala music gathering is back at Darwin’s iconic Amphitheatre.
After a 2020 event hosted online, the National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) will once again be Australia’s most celebrated Indigenous music event – live! And with a line-up boasting the likes of Baker Boy, Miiesha, Electric Fields, King Stingray, Dallas Woods and Kee’ahn, Alice Skye and more, the NIMAs will be a true window into the future of Australian music celebrating collective experience, healing and reflection.
With lockdowns, remote communities cut off from loved ones and a music community on its knees from the impact on live performances, the NIMAs is a time for our First Nations music sector to come together as one with all of our community on Larrakia land to share stories, reflect on our shared experiences and look to our future.
Gather under the stars with our host Steven Oliver, and discover the hottest new talent while celebrating Indigenous music past, present and emerging.
