It's A Wrap!

Darwin Festival has wrapped up for another year, the lanterns are packed away and the lights have been taken down. And what a Festival it has been. 18 days and nights, 15 venues, 66 events, 148 performances and 916 artists from all over the Territory, Australia and the world. Phew! It’s been a cracker of a Festival and one we're sure many will remember for years to come. With a delectable feast of performance, visual arts, theatre, cabaret, family events and much much more, there was something for everyone. And we’ve had loads of great feedback about our new venue The Lighthouse. With only 267 sleeps until next year’s Festival there’s no need to be sad it’s all over, and if you missed anything of this year’s Festival, check out our online gallery for some great pictures of the Festival that was, Darwin Festival 2009.
