Alana Valentine, writer of Darwin Festival produced work Head Full of Love, has been shortlisted for the Griffin Award. She is one of ten finalists vying for the $10,000 prize offered for an outstanding new Australian play or performance text.
For the second year in a row Darwin Festival has commissioned Territory artists to paint the walls of our iconic venue. To begin the Lighthouse Commission, Darwin Festival shipped over around 100 metres (660 kilos) of corrugated iron on a barge to Bathurst Island, which was followed by 70 litres of paint.
