This symbol indicates that the event includes an Auslan-interpreted performance. Darwin Festival is offering Auslan interpretation for selected performance of the following events:

How to Book into Auslan Interpreted Performances

  • You can book into Auslan interpreted performances online.
  • Just head to the event page, select the performance with Auslan interpretation, and choose the ticket option labelled ‘Auslan Interpreted’.
  • For general admission events, seats will be reserved to give you the best view of the interpreter. When you arrive, please make yourself known to front of house staff — they’ll be assisted by the Auslan interpreter to greet you.
  • For An Idiot’s Guide to Wine: Volume 3, tables are allocated. Selecting the ‘Auslan Interpreted’ ticket option will place you at a table with the best view of the interpreter.
  • If you’re attending as a group and want to sit together with a clear view of the interpreter, we recommend that everyone in your group selects the ‘Auslan Interpreted’ ticket option.
