Muuki Taylor was born c.1945 at Wayinkurangu, a waterhole in the Percival Lakes region in remote Western Australia.
He is a Martu Pujiman (born in the desert) and a respected lawman. His paintings are informed by his profound understanding of the cultural, biological, and geographical aspects of his country.
