Presented by the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and NATSIAA Principal Partner Telstra.
Experience the diversity and richness of contemporary First Nations artistic practice when the richest art awards in Australia return to MAGNT.
The annual Telstra NATSIAA is the longest running art awards dedicated to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art and artists, and this year’s edition marks the 40th year they have been presented by MAGNT.
Set up a picnic on the MAGNT Lawns from 5:30pm on Friday 11 August and celebrate the artists at the official Awards Opening Ceremony at 6:40pm. Then visit the exhibition from 8:00pm onwards and see the outstanding breadth of works created by artists in the past year.
