We close our 2022 Festival with the RnB and future soul sounds of a musical force of nature.
Hailing from the Eastern Highlands and New Ireland provinces of Papua New Guinea, though now Sydney Australia-based, Ngaiire has a career that crosses genres, mediums and expectations. Her sound melds electronic neo-soul, gospel, and big pop sounds, strained through the lens of a First Nations Papua New Guinean songwriter.
With a live show that fuses art, fashion and music, Ngaiire has graced the stages of Glastonbury and Splendour in The Grass, toured alongside artists as varied as Flume, Sufjan Stevens and Alicia Keys and composed for art installations and dance companies. Her shows give the audience the full spectrum of live performances – one moment will be a pop banger, and the next she will break your heart. Don’t miss this stellar vocal force in a magical night of music under the stars.
