Festival Food

Made with love

Embark on a mouthwatering adventure at Festival Park. Our line-up of local culinary legends serve up irresistible dishes that capture the essence of the Territory.

HANUMAN

Returning to Festival Park this year is Jimmy Shu’s renowned restaurant, Hanuman, offering a vibrant fusion of Thai, Indian, and Nonya cuisines. Known for its bold flavours and fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Hanuman delivers an unforgettable culinary experience that celebrates the essence of the Territory.

CUCINA SOTTO LE STELLE

Benjamin is back this Dry Season with his authentic Italian woodfired pizza, a Nightcliff foreshore favourite for many years. Catch him under the festoon lights in his iconic pizza-making pants and listen out for the Cucina sotto le stelle catchcry – the call of your pizza number echoing through the crowd.

FLORA’S TEMPER MEXICANTINA

Flora’s Temper Mexicantina debuts at Festival Park this year, bringing bold, modern Mexican flavours crafted with locally sourced ingredients. Indulge in shareable dishes like soft-shelled tacos, zesty ceviche, and charred corn cobs, elevated with fresh twists that promise a memorable dining experience.

BAMBOO LOUNGE

Experience the vibrant flavours of Southeast Asian-inspired cuisine at Bamboo Lounge, where Romal and Madhu’s authentic culinary artistry shines through in every bite. With roots in Nepal and a deep love for the warmth of Darwin’s people and produce, they create food with love, prepared with the freshest local ingredients.

CHRISTINE’S EXOTIC EATS

Delight your senses with Christine’s Exotic Eats, a culinary journey into the heart of East African flavours. From handcrafted Kenyan samosas, to mahamri and aromatic pilau rice bowls, each dish is a celebration of healthy ingredients and vibrant flavours made with love.

HUGS PANIM

Indulge in the soulful tastes of Thailand at Hugs Panim, where Nim and her daughters craft dishes brimming with love, flavour and freshness. You can’t go past crowd-favourites Pad Thai, paw paw salad, or try Nim’s Thai beef salad – it’ll melt in your mouth with a tangy spice hit.

THREE MUM’S KITCHEN

The team from Three Mum’s Kitchen are once again gracing Festival Park with their delicious Vietnamese food – including, in our opinion, one of the best noodle salads in the city. Using fresh, local ingredients from farms and markets around the Top End, this is authentic tasty food made with mum’s magic touch.

TRAMPOLINE

One of our longest standing food vendors Trampoline Gelato is back and we can’t wait for you to taste this year’s exclusive Darwin Festival flavour. With a minimum of 12 flavours on offer each night, Festival Park will be full of smiling faces. And that’s Trampoline owner John’s favourite part of his job!

MR MINUCCI

Alessio’s irresistible Mr Minucci burgers are back at Festival Park. From beef to buffalo, vegetarian and seafood delights, they’re a fresh festival feast designed to satisfy every craving. Freshly made-to-order, satisfaction is guaranteed every time you visit.
