Gravity & Other Myths

THE MIRROR

Buy Tickets

Gravity & Other Myths return to Darwin with a spectacular show that combines live music, dance, circus, cabaret, video and – of course – heart-pumping acrobatics.

With humour, playful storytelling and amazing circus leaps and bounds The Mirror explores what entertainment is in a world where we’re all content creators and what we make lasts forever. High impact acrobatics spill off the stage, accompanied by a pulsing lighting and video design featuring an LED wall combining mirrors, video art and live feed from multiple handheld cameras. Immersed in richly layered electronic compositions and pop mash-ups performed live by Ekrem Eli Phoenix, the acrobats push themselves to the limit while at the same time questioning where entertainment ends and art begins. What does authenticity mean in an age of ever-present screens and permanent self-promotion?

The Mirror is a unique circus experience that has been a smash-hit with audiences and critics alike. Prepare to be dazzled by this awe-inspiring, totally entertaining event.
