This exhibition presents nine Tiwi male artists from Ngaruwanajirri, showcasing contemporary artworks rooted in tradition.
Using local materials, ochres, and modern tools, their carvings and paintings reflect cultural continuity, innovation, and life in Wurrumiyanga. Tiwi design, storytelling, and responses to colonisation shape these unique expressions of enduring heritage.
