DARWIN SINGS

Alice Sings Community Choir

Featuring David Garnham

More Info

Alice Sings is coming to town to perform as part of Red Desert, Endless Sky, and while they’re here, they want to sing with you.

Come along to this one-off singing workshop and learn ‘Getting Pretty Good’ by David Garnham and the Reasons to Live in glorious three-part harmony. No singing experience is needed. It’s all about coming together for a sing and a good time. Over the two-hour session, you will be led by the leaders of the Alice Sings Community Choir and by the end you’ll be ready to belt out this Darwin classic accompanying Dave Garnham himself. The end product will even be recorded!

Alice Sings is an Alice Springs-based community choir run by Edward Gould, Xavia Nou, Camille Bernardino (Bambadino) and Dave Crowe (Resin Moon). This group of musicians strongly believes that everyone can sing and that music making is something that we can all be a part of. Regularly running workshops in Mparntwe/Alice Springs, the choir sings pop bangers and arrangements of original local music. Over the last five years, the choir has arranged and performed alongside acts such as Regurgitator, Warren H Williams, Darren Hanlon and Phia amongst many others. Now it’s your turn, Darwin.
