Take a seat in a glowing chair and spin around to create a musical soundscape.
Adelaide creative studio Pulsing Heart invites play, provokes thought and inspires connection through experimental and participatory experiences. Their award-winning HEXADECA is an architecturally-designed music-making playground where sensor technology triggers sound and light. You become the conductor of a musical soundscape that features work by artists including Aurora choir, Adam Page and Tom Thum. As you sit and spin on this dream-like installation, you unknowingly activate portions of the musical score, with the entire track only revealed when each seat is occupied.
People of all ages and abilities can interact with HEXADECA or pop into our new space, Kolsen Twighlight Playground, anytime between 5pm and 9pm and just sit back and enjoy the music being made.
