A National Science Week event presented by Darwin Festival and Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory
Learn about light in the animal kingdom and embark on a journey of light and imagination in the illuminating installation by Patch Theatre.
With a UV torch as your paintbrush, you can paint and stencil your own voyage with bioluminescent animals as your inspiration. Steer ships that leave glowing paths in their wake as you sail them across the sea floor.
Sea of Light brings together science, light and soundscape to create a unique National Science Week adventure for the family. The experience starts with a 10-minute introduction in the MAGNT Theatrette, then you have 30 minutes to immerse yourself in the wonder of the light installation in the Discovery Centre.
